The AI chatbot for your Shopify store

Widgeto reads your product pages and your shipping, returns and terms pages, then answers the questions that stall a purchase today. You install it by pasting one line into your theme.

How to install it on Shopify

You work on the theme. No app to install.

Copy the line of code

You will find it in your Widgeto dashboard, in the widget section, once your store has been indexed.

Open the theme code editor

In your Shopify admin go to Online Store, then Themes, and from the active theme's menu choose the option to edit the code.

Paste it into theme.liquid

Open theme.liquid and paste the snippet right before the closing body tag. That is the spot that covers every page of the store.

Save and open your store

The widget appears on the public site. If you are working on a live store, try it on a duplicate of the theme first.

The questions that lose you the cart

In ecommerce hesitation does not produce an email: it produces an exit. The chatbot answers the moment the doubt appears.

Shipping and delivery times

How much? How long? Do you ship to my country? The most frequent questions and the easiest to solve: the answer is already on your pages, the chatbot finds it.

Returns and exchanges

People who cannot find your returns policy often do not buy. The chatbot explains it in your own words, including the exceptions nobody reads in the terms page.

Sizes, materials, compatibility

The pre-purchase questions that today arrive by email, if they arrive at all. The chatbot answers from your product pages while the visitor is still on them.

When there is no answer

Widgeto says it does not know and hands over the contact, instead of inventing. In a shop a wrong answer about a return or a size costs more than silence.

What if it gives a customer the wrong answer?

That is the real risk with generic chatbots, which answer from what the model learned in general. Widgeto works differently: it looks for the relevant passage inside your own content and answers only from that. If the answer is not in the material you gave it, it says so and hands over the contact. You can also upload internal rules as private sources, for instance how much room you have to negotiate on a return: the chatbot uses them to answer well without ever showing them to the customer.

Shopify questions

No. Widgeto is installed by pasting one line of code into your theme's theme.liquid file. It does not appear among your installed apps and it requests no permissions on your store admin.
No. It has no access to the Shopify admin. It only reads your public store content and the documents you upload, so it answers about rules rather than about the status of a specific order.
No. Shopify checkout is a separate part of the store and does not use your theme, so a snippet in theme.liquid does not reach it. The chatbot works on product pages, collections and information pages, which is where the purchase is decided.
The snippet has to be pasted into the new theme, or the new version: theme code edits are not carried over automatically. It takes a minute, but it belongs on your post-theme-change checklist.
Yes. Widgeto recognises the language of the question and answers in it. If your store has translated versions of your pages, index them and the chatbot will use the relevant one.
Yes, by moving the snippet: in theme.liquid it covers the whole store, inside a specific template it only covers the pages using that template.

Answer the doubts before they turn into abandoned carts.
